Day 1: Fly to Dire Dawa

Early in the morning transfer to Bole International airport for your flight to Dire Dawa the second largest city of the country; upon arrival at Dire Dawa airport you will be met and welcomed by our representatives then drive directly towards Harer the fourth holiest Muslim city after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem.
After check-in and tea break in Harer pay time to see the old walled town of Harar, including the Harar National Museum, Arture Remboud House as well as both the colorful Muslim and Christian markets known for their basketry the traditional Adere houses situated within the famous walled city. In the evening, you will visit the hyena man performance, while he feeding hungry hyenas and you will have a chance to stretch out your hands to feed the hyena. Then resume drive to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Awash

After breakfast in the hotel leave Harer and commence driving to Awash passing through the land inhabited by the Oromo and Afar ethnic groupsafter 10km drive from Harer stop at the town of Awodai to see the daily Chat market stimulant herb; after that continue driving with a stop at the town of Asebe Teferi.Early afternoon arrive in Awash then directly proceed to Awash National Park. The park takes its name from Awash River the longest river in Ethiopia and marks the park’s southern boundary and occupied by an area of riveriene forest, wetlands, acacia woodlands, savannah grasslands, rocky cliff hills and escarpment.
There are well maintained tracks traversing the park, which takes in the most spectacular areas to see different east African plain animals including greater and lesser Kudu, Beix Oryx, Dik–Dik . . . and more, as well as more than 350 bird species which have been recorded on this 780 km2 game Park.

Day 3: Drive to Bale

After breakfast in the hotel commence driving to Bale Gobapassing through one of the spectacular landscapes of the county exploring the Oromo people’s village lunch can be served en route and then continue driving towards Bale Mountains Lodge.

Day 4: Excursion To Senetti Plateau

Ascend Sanetti Plateaucited as the world’s largest expanse of Afro – Alpine moorland: a montane habitat that confined to altitudes of 3500m – 4500m on east Africa’s tallest mountain, and crossing Batu Mountain, 4200 meters. Here you have a great opportunity to spot Ethiopian Wolf, as the plateau is renowned for supporting the most substantial extant population of Ethiopian Wolf and the endemic Giant Mole Rat. Head to the southern end of the plateau, here the Harenna forest and its escarpment awaits you, with its astounding view over the forest almost 2000m below.

Day 5: Visit Gaysay then Drive to Hawassa

After breakfast in the hotel leave Goba and drive to Gaysay extension positioned in the northern part of Bale National Park, which protects the 3543m Mount Gaysay here you will do short horse riding in-order to see some endemic mammals and birds too then commence driving towards Hawassa a lovely town located at the shore of Lake Hawassa the smallest and shallowest rift valley lake through settlements inhabited by the Oromo people; lunch can be served at the town of Shashemene and then resume driving to Hawassa and after check-in to Haile Resort you will walk along the shore of the to see some water birds.

Day 6: Drive to Langano

After breakfast in the hotel you will visit Hawassa traditional Fish market then resume driving to the rift valley lakes region en route you will visit Abiyata Shalla National Park situated in the heart of the Rift Valley which together form 50 percent of the 880sq km conservation area. Then proceed to Lake Langano Bilharzia free Rift Valley and safe for swimming. After check-in to Sabana Beach Resort and lunch break you will have free time to enjoy swimming in this lovely rift valley lake.

Day 7: Drive back to Addis Abeba

Today we drive back to Addis Ababa through the marvelous Great Rift Valley region. Lunch can be served en route then resume driving back to the capital city admiring different types of landscapes and in the afternoon you will arrive in Addis Ababa be transferred to the place where you are staying.
